I’ve enjoyed Commander Chris Hadfield’s educational lessons – as I’m sure millions have – and was impressed by his Space Oddity cover. He’ll be missed (in outer space) – but welcome back to Earth’s surface Commander Chris.Space Oddity – YouTube.
Obviously, if you glance through my posts, you see I have an affinity for Legos. I’ve love them since I was a child and now enjoy playing with them with my daughter. But I’m constantly amazed at the cool things that can be done with them. This Polaroid Camera is just cool.
Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus. I believe. Seriously though… a breakfast drink from Mountain Dew. Sign me up, I’ll try it. I remember the old Gatorade morning drinks. They were caffeinated fruit drinks that were delightful, except of a slight after taste.
This is probably one of the coolest things I’ve seen in a while. Practical in many ways and relatively affordable. This could revolutionize lots of things.
Once the flipping mechanism is perfected, it’ll be ready to go. Oh wait, it’ll also need a bacon add-on. But I’m sure that’s not far behind.
But in all honestly, this is awesome. Legos. Pancakes. Yum.
Well it seems to be a lego type of day for me. You can apparently build a 2.17 mile tall tower of legos until they are crushed under their own weight. Very interesting. Too bad the Egyptians didn’t have Legos when they built the pyramids.
How Tall Can a Lego Tower Be Before It Crushes Itself?.
I’ve always loved legos. And now I’ve passed the passion on to my young daughter. We now build and play with legos together. Though I could do without stepping on them.
But this story is very heartwarming. Lego is a terrific company and it’s good to see businesses can do more than worry about profit. They can care about their customers and fans – no matter how young.
I think what people fail to consider is that when the first iPad was launched technology was far different, even though it was only a few years ago. The new size may be nicer, but it may not have been possible to create a smaller sized tablet and have it work back then.
I’ll probably get an iPad mini, but I still love my first gen iPad.
This is so funny. I’ve always commented on this. Don’t get me wrong, even though coffee doesn’t tastes as good as it smells… I drink it constantly. In fact some have said I’m trying to replace my blood with coffee. One can dream.
I’m glad to see some science applied to this phenomenon. Even is I find the answer less than satisfying.
