We generally make it to the Blackwood Parade – it’s a good time – though often very cold. But this year it was a little extra special, as MainStage was performing on a stage along the roadside. Which means Harmony Show Choir was there – and of course that means Maddy was performing. And even better – she got to give the welcome chat during the performance. So, that was even more exciting.
The parade ran long – so MainStage’s performancers – both Encore and Harmony Choirs were interrupted – as the parade rolled through. For a while there I thought my toes were surely going to be frost bitten – I had not prepared correctly for the lengthy parade. But I got home and still have all my toes.
